Cannot turn off EXPRESS menu in workspace.

I have loaded Express Tools.  I wish to use them, but I only want to access them through the Ribbon.  I do not want the Express menu in the menu bar.

In the CUI editor, I customize my workspace, uncheck the Express menu under Partial CUIs, select "Done" for the Customize Workspace, apply (everything looks good here).

...When I select OK and exit the CUI editor, the Express menu comes back.

Any ideas?

I would think that you need to start from ACAD / Workspaces / ... (current) ... Customize Workspace... and there remove the unwanted menu.

That is exactly what I am attempting to describe above (it IS what I am doing)

You may need to switch the workspaces to reload... Just tried and it works.

BTW you're talking about "Under Partial CUIs"... I don't.

Unloading express menu like that unloads the tools entirely.  I still want to access through the ribbon.

Also, the workspace has to be in the Main, rather than the Enterprise, which is read-only.

I usually hit Apply, then Done, when using the editor.  This usually makes the changes immediate when the editor is closed, although this may have changed when they stopped reloading the active workspace instead of having to toggle.
