I cannot select my plotter, when i select it, it just goes back to "none". I've had a play around but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
When i use the same plotter from any windows application it works just fine.

Hi,

there are some questions open:

  • which plotter,
  • which plotter driver
  • which version of AutoCAD
  • which service pack is installed for AutoCAD
  • which operating system
  • did that plotter never work or was it working and something changed on your system

Hi @Anonymous,

Is this happening in all your drawings or just one?  I have run across this when a Layout has some corruption.

Have you tried recreating the PC3 file from scratch to see if it then behaves?

This happens when you select a .PC3 file that references a system printer driver that you do not have installed.

Resetting your profile is not going to fix this.

Well, if it was working fine, what changed on your system?

I wish i knew what changed. I never used a pc3 for this plotter. I'll try some suggestions made here. But now i am out of office for 17 days. I am also the only one at the office experiencing this problem.

Hi @Anonymous,

I suggest that you try creating the new PC3 file when you return and post back to this thread with your results.

Hi @Anonymous,

It really sounds like the issue is with the Windows Printer driver. When you return, post back and perhaps we can coordinate a remote session.
