Cannot plot using Plot Area: Layout

I created a blank file and imported a titleblock i had.

Now i'm trying to plot using the option Plot Area: Layout.

But the drawing is all over the place depending on the scale.

If i set the scale 1:1 the preview shows blank

if i set the sacle 1:5 the preview shows drawing cut in half.

The plot offset is set to 0 everywhere, so why my drawing walking around?

And how do i center?

I cant figure it out!

(Sure i could use the option Plot Area: Window, but i want to learn how Plot Area Layour works and what is wrong)

If you're plotting a paper space Layout, the plotting scale should be 1:1, not 1:5.  Do the scaling in the settings for the Viewport(s).

OR... delete your problem layout, create a new one: works just fine after that

I put scale 1:5 to show how it moved around on the plot preview.
But even setting everything to 1:1 it doesn't work.

Maybe the issue could be in some config on my computer?

I created a new layout as you suggested and it now shows a dashed pritable area and appears on the layout but doesnt fit quite right yet.

I fiddled with too many settings im afraid i broke something x).

Any reason you don't want to select Window area to plot instead of Layout?

Also your title block measures exactly A0 size at 1:1, why set the scale to 1:5?

There's a Center option in the Plot window as well.

The only reason im using layout, is that im trying to learn how to use that option. For pratical day use i always use Window mode. I put 1:5 scale just to see the effect of the change on the preview, but my goal was to make it work on the 1:1.
I gave on that quest, too complicated for me xD
