Cannot open saved templates

Hello, recently I haven't been able to open drawing templates that I created and saved using various versions of autocad. 2015LT, 2017, 2018 & 2019. In my command prompt it reads "Template drawing xxxx is not on file.  Using defaults.Regenerating model." The "xxxx" being the file location. Our company is cloud based using onedrive and we haven't had this issue yet in the last year of using it.

I've tried changing the extensions to .dwg instead of .dwt and it says it was created with a more recent version of AutoCAD when I try to open it.

I've reinstalled autocad twice now with no luck in solving the bug and all previous service updates for 2019 were installed when this started occurring. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

System:

AutoCAD 2019

Windows 10Pro x64

@Anonymous hi,

go to your dwt folder verify that the dwt is in place, recover the file.

I tried this and it says that it cannot recover this file. Only one other system in our network is having this issue. all other computers can open these templates freely.

AutoCAD 2015-2017 cannot open files created in 2018-2019, that includes template files. Your error message seems to indicate you are using an older software to open a newer file format, not 2019. Nothing else.

And are you sure all the other computers are accessing the same template files you are? perhaps you are unintentionally accessing an unshared folder.

Have a second pair of eyes watch you/ what you are doing/using to ensure you all are doing the exact same thing to open these files.
OR
Post a video of your issues in action in your AutoCAD session, lets see your progress. use a tool like Autodesk's Screencast so we can see your commands usage as well.

I am using AutoCAD 2019. I mentioned the previous versions we had in which I edited these files in case it was helpful. I created the file location on sharepoint over a year ago and we sync through one drive. I've tried downloading the templates directly to my computer, having them emailed etc.. etc.. and still no progress.

I'm downloading screencast now. I'll get a video up shortly.
