SP1 for which exact product? Remember, you have more than one AutoCAD variant in that package.
And if you double-click on a DWG file in Windows Explorer does the product who's SP1 you downloaded open or does something else? Remember, plain AutoCAd isn't MECH and isn't ELEC, and vice versa.

in this link http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-2015-service-... it said: "This Service Pack can be applied to AutoCAD 2015 installed as a standalone application as well as AutoCAD 2015 installed from the following Autodesk Design Suites and bundled product." since we dont use mechanical anymore and just the regular acad portion from the design suite i assumed it was good to go. ill look for the mech service pack. Thanks Dean
