Can we do "dwg Compare" without considering Xrefs

Hi Guys,

I want to compare drawing "A" to drawing "B", so I opened the "A" and unloaded all Xrefs,

drawing "B" contains Xrefs, 

is there any way to compare "A" to "B" without including "B" Xrefs in the comparison?

Hi,

I'll give a hint that will meet your needs :

• If you have a layer that is turned off or frozen in your current drawing, it will not become part of the comparison result.
• If the comparison drawing is also open, any changes you make in the comparison drawing do not display in a comparison until you save the changes.

honestly... I have not test the second hint. BUT you can try to unload the xref's then save your CAD dwg's and check if it's ok.
