Can´t write commands

Im drawing a house and suddenly i cant write any commands ore numbers.

have restarted my laptop, but the problem seams to be on all my drawings, so i guess it has something to do with AutoCad.

Can anyone help?

Does your keyboard function normally in other programs?

Can't type a command name at the comamndline?
Or is the commandline out of sight/closed?
Or is the commandline just writing words the same color as the background and you just can't see what is being typed?

Or do you need to expand the commandline to be half the height and width of your screen as a test to see what is going on?

Please explain with more details: don't forget to tell us your exact AutoCAD year version and OS.

The problem just came suddenly, when i am drawing a line ore any other things, i cant write the length of the line ore type any quick commands

pick the DYNMODE icon at the bottom of the screen to toggle it off.  DYNMODE may be set to 2 or 1, set it to 0.

I have never seen ore heard of Dynmode, but it does solve my problem and i can yet again continue my work.
