Dear all

I truly appreciate your time and consideration, helping me to solve this problem which is related to starting AutoCAD 2017 which crash at starts ( since yesterday).

Any idea about how to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Hi @nggarnaud,

What changed in your environment in the last day that might have caused this?  Did you change some drivers or security settings? Perhaps a Windows update? I suggest checking for some of these things. If you can undo what has changed then you will likely be up and running.

You might also check for a new graphics driver. Sometimes after an update gets applied, drivers need to be updated as well.

Hello John

Yesterday i spent hours debugging an API using VS2015 and Autocad 2017. After that i installed en_agents_for_visual_studio_2015_with_update_1_x86_x64_7288038, and en_remote_tools_for_visual_studio_2015_with_update_1_x64_7288202. But couldn't install mu_visual_cpp_redistributable_for_visual_studio_2015_update_1_x64_7277229.

nothing more than that!!!

Best

Gil

Hi @nggarnaud,

I wonder if any of the Visual Studio added other WIndows stuff like .Net Framework patches/upgrades.

Try  a Repair from the Windows Control Panel and let me know if that makes any difference.

HI @nggarnaud,

i suspect something happened during the VS stuff. Here is a sample thread from MSDN (Microsoft ) that sounds similar.

If everything was working fine a day ago, is it too much trouble to rollback to that point in time with a system restore point?
