Can't Edit Path of External Reference and CAD says it's already Attached if I try to reconnect

I'm working on a project that was initially set up by another team member. 

Our firm received updated backgrounds from ID that I need to Xref in and replace the current background. 

My current issue is A002-07A won't load. As you can see from below there is no Path under Found at.

I've switched the Type between Overlay to Attach and nothing happened.

I rt clicked on A002 and selected attach. I went and found where it was stored and when I click on it CAD says Xref "A002-07A" has already been defined.

How can I resolve the issue?

Do I have to Detach and re-Xref in?

Hi,

A yellow exclamation mark next to an Xref in the External References palette means the file is found but needs reloading — usually because it has changed since it was last loaded in your drawing. Try to Right-click on the affected Xref → choose Reload. If not fixed, follow the instruction in this LINK.

You can definitely try to detach the xref A002-07A.dwg and then attach it again as a way to troubleshoot the issue.

Also see if A002-07A.dwg is a valid dwg by opening it.

Lastly, open the main 25017...dwg by using the RECOVERALL command.
