Can Surface Pro 3 run Autocad and Revit?

Anonymous
No aplicable

I know this is just for AutoCAD but I need to know about Revit as well.

Someone is offering to sell to me a Surface Pro 3 with:

512 gb storage

8gb of ram

64-bit system

i7-465OU

CPU @ 1.7GH 2.30 GHz

Will AutoCAD and Revit run on this?

What are the pros and cons?

I realize that rendering probably won't be great but that's fine with me.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I know that there have been some issues with the graphics card and getting hardware acceleration to work in AutoCAD on the Surface Pros.  If Hardware Acceleration is not critical then the other specs are fine.
