Can "ADCNAVIGATE" command link to "Blocks" level of the target drawing?

I am currently using "ADCNAVIGATE" command on the tools palette to navigate to our CAD Detail Library, all details are individual blocks in that target drawing. However, by using "ADCNAVIGATE" command, it only opens the target drawing at the drawing level, I wish there is a parameter to set it to the "Blocks" level, so that CAD user can directly select/preview the details. is there a way to achieve that? thanks.

Hi,

when you open DESIGNCENTER , you will find it as you close it last time . i just want to draw your attention that you can always found your needed previous drawings in History tab . right click and Explore it to find that it's directly take you to another list an the Blocks is the first one there .

Hi,

in addition, as it could help with your workflow:

You can create a palette from all the blocks inside the "blocks" section in the source drawing ... this tool palette shows then all these blocks with symbol preview whenever you have the tool palette active.

Just right-click in "blocks" and select "Create Tool Palette"

NO is the answer to your question: explore the excellent alternatives noted by others.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have created lots of Tool palettes for our CAD system, I noticed that adding blocks onto tool palettes will significantly slow down the tool palettes in Civil 3D when switching groups or palettes. I think that has been a long going issue with the Civil 3D tool palette, that's why I try to explore alternative options to have the blocks linked to the TPs in other ways.

Posting in the C3D forum might give you other options that are not troublesome in that variant. Here is a direct link to that forum https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/bd-p/66
