Can not start up a new project in AutoCAD please help

Trying to work on AutoCAD but I'm stuck at the menu page and can't start a new project or even close the windo. I'm on a Windows 8 computer and i have intel core i3. when downloading is said i met the requirmnts. I just want a simple solution so i can start my project. I have a student Licence. Thank you.

Q1) Which ACAD exactly : 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 ?

Q2) Which Windows 8 : Win 8.1 or Win 8 ?

32 or 64 bits version ??

Q3) OK you have an Intel Core i3 but please more Infos about your hardware : memory in Gb, graphic card ?
