Can not perform more than one subtraction from an object

I autocad 2010 3d I can not perform more than one subtraction from one object.

I wanted to subtract six box shape light fitting from a ceiling but if I tried to subtract all in one hit it goes funny.

The only way out was to do one subtraction then save and then another.

It worked for five subtractions but not the sixth.

By default it works, start command, then select the base object (end selection for that) and then select the objects to be used subtractive.

Well, a DOC file can't be opened in AutoCAD as well as the screenshot within your word-file. If you want to know why that does not work in this special case we need the DWG file.

I cant attach the DWG for security reasons but I will try and set up a dummy DWG and post it.

Sorry cant post it - something about the file type being wrong.

I will just have have to live with it - thanks anyway.

Create a ZIP, then use the upload/attachment option.
If that does not work (I have issues with attaching data too ... but only with FireFox) try another browser.
