i have a text style that continually resets itself to 0.000 paper text height. pretty much when I start a dwg and a lot of times when i reopen it.
This is also the text style that i use the most by far so the constant resetting is frustrating. Any ideas?

Something is telling it to reset. Do you have any startup code running?

* Start up AutoCAD fresh from the icon so no drawings are loaded.
* Open this drawing
* When it opens, run the "U" command (not Undo) multiple times, until it says "Nothing to Undo"
* Check this textstyle.

Is that how it is set in your locked-from-editing template files by chance?
Or did the person that set up your AutoCAD forcing a reset using LISP or something?
Or are you running a 3rd party tool that loaded all of those text styles for you and controls it all the time?

Explain how and when you see this change take place: perhaps that might shed some light on it.
