Can I get a DX to export to a preformatted Sheet

I am wondering if there is a way to create a templet that the DX function can use to make a table in excel. Right now I need to count hundreds of block with several attributes and I need them in a nice little table for excel so I can make an order and/or have the prefab dept create the items needed. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hi,

Try EATTEXT command line...it may help.

That does not export the information it is just the attributes editor. I am looking to be able to DX into a premade excel sheet. Is that possible?

I have been using the DX command and it dumps the information into an excel spreadsheet. Which is really good. However, I would like the spreadsheet that AutoCAD creates to be setup a certain way. IE font style, header, footer, column names, row names, highlighted areas.

Read through HELP: there is a lot of pre-setup, by you, that needs to happen in order for it all to appear in Excel the way you want.
