Hey everyone!
I have been experiencing the following issue lately:
whenever I try to open Autocad 2019 I simply get the following message:
"All of the possible directories for storing temporary files either do not exist or are readonly. Please correct this situation before running AutoCAD again" with only one option ("OK");
Apparently, AutoCAD does not open and I do not know what to do!
Any ideas?

Hi @Anonymous,
This is an error caused by the OS. The only reliable fix that I have seen is to create a new Windows user profile. This is also mentioned in the article that Dean kindly provided.

thank you for the rapid reply! I started reformating the whole pc - do you happen to know why does AutoCAD do this when switching user profiles? Is there some way to dodge it?
Thank you so much for the help. Do you happen to know if a corrupted user profile equals a system virus infection? Or it might as well be any other reason?
HI @Anonymous,
A total rebuild is not necessary but it will give you a nice clean computing environment. A new user profile is usually all that is required to get thing back up and running. I have not done a lot of personal research on the issue but it is not a virus and it does affect other applications other than Autodesk ones.
