Hi,

the idea is: Your breakline block must contain two POINT objects on the DEFPOINTS layer, but it doesn't have that!

The question now is:

Did you try to create a new breaksymbol block? (original is named "brkline")

or did you set another block for breaksymbol by mistake

or did you edit this block (delete one or both points, or changed the layer)

?

Start breakline command, pick the first point, use option BLOCK

What name is currently set?

set to: brkline.dwg

If the same message appears, there is a block "brkline" in your file, but not the original one.

PURGE this block and try it again.

thanks that worked.  when i opened the break-line symbol command and select block i must have hit the keyboard by mistake, so i typed in brkline and that fixed the issue i was having.  thanks.
