Hi,

as showing in the attached image, few continuous lines are flowing on panels, now I want to create individual files for each rectangular box with the green lines  on it. I tried using "Break at Point" it is taking very long time to break the lines at every junction. Any easy ways?Issue.PNG

There's a lisp on www.swamp.org that might be useful - lots of different options for breaking objects at intersections.

You'll need to register for the website but it's free.

Break lisp

Breaking lines shouldn't normally take very long though - is this drawing particularly slow when you're doing other things or is it just breaking that's slow?

Are these panels rectangle polylines?

Why not use BOUNDARY command? Look up usage in HELP.

Hi marianne.mcdonald,

Thanks for your reply. i will try the software you mentioned.

for this current job I have to cut each junction of green line and rectangle for this job alone I have to use Break at Point command around 400 times, i believe this could be done bit easily.

What do you mean "individual files"? Like WBLOCK out the rectangle and the green line out as a separate dwg file? Then what is the file name pattern? "Rectangle1.dwg"?
