Hi. I am drawing this object 3d model in my autocad 2k18 version. The object is having smooth lines in my system.
When the same file is opened for cnc cutting, the borders are showing zig zag.
What should I do to overcome this problem?
I think the curve I used for this was polyline that was changed to fit.

I have reached out to @Anonymous please take a look at this video >here< where he explains that for the CNC machine to be able to read the file the 3D objects need to be converted into 2D flat vector based objects.

Which file format did you use to transfer the drawing from AutoCAD to your cnc system?

you already accepted post 2 as solution so I guess you have all solved and working already.

My suggestion for that would have been to raise the value of FACETRES to 10, to make it more smooth.
But STL is a format based on triangles, real curves are not supported with that format. If you need real (endless) smoothed curves you need to search for a different interface/file format.

Look to command _EXPORT and the filetypes listed their, then compare the list with the list your other system can import.

Have you tried to set FACETRES to 10?
VIEWRES does not have to do anything with geometry export.
