BLOCKSYNCFOLDER versus BLOCKSRECENTFOLDER variables

These are two new System Variables and Help describes them this way:

BLOCKSYNCFOLDER - "Sets the path where the recent and favorite blocks are stored."

BLOCKRECENTFOLDER - "Sets the path where the recently inserted or created blocks are stored."

Does anyone know why there are two variables that seem to perform the same function?

TIA

Key words:
RECENT/FAVORITE
INSERTED/CREATED

That's why: they address separate sets of blocks.

Thanks for the reply Dean.

I'm still scratching my head about this...

When I change either of the variables, the other one changes to match.

When I set either to "." (None), both are reset to the same default pathway (rather than a true "None")

I need to think about this... and how I'm going to configure my firm's deployment defaults.
