Blocks with Attribute Text - Polyline and Text displays badly when not connected to docking station

Good day all;

I have a challenge for the collective.  I have blocks that have been created using rectangles and pentagons with some single line text, and some attribute text.  These blocks generally speaking work perfectly fine but, one of my sales people who has Autocad on his machine needed to use these out in the field.  While the laptop was plugged into the docking station, the blocks looked perfectly fine.  Once the laptop is unplugged from the docking station, you only see the corners of the rectangle and pentagon and the attribute text appears almost "pixelated".  Has anyone seen this issue or know of a setting that may affect these blocks?

Hi,

I guess your product is not up2date.

Share your Productname and Productversion, command: ABOUT

TEST:

Turn LWDISPLAY off

or Set GFXDX12 off (0) and restart Acad

You should tell about your productname and productversion. Uncutted Screenshots offers also more informations than cutted.

An unplugged laptop these days goes into battery-preservation-mode and scales back dramatically anything that is designed to drain the battery, like processor and more importantly better graphics cards etc.

Now that you know that: have them turn off GFXDX12 (requires a program restart), maybe even turn off hardware acceleration in GRAPHICSCONFIG command.
Then explore the laptop settings to run hot at maximum, and/or reach out to the Laptop Manufacturer Support and see what they offer s workaround to prioritize draining the battery and running at full tilt (may not be an option for that model).

Thanks for that.  I added some of the basics.  Will have my guy try that fix
