Blocks Pallet Library Corrupt/File not Found

After uninstalling and re-installing AutoCAD2023 on a Windows 10 Enterprise OS I'm getting an error when trying to access the blocks pallet library from old dwg files.  From what I've seen in the forum here there should be an option to remove libraries that are inaccessible, however I see no option to do so.  The screen has an error where the library options should be (see attached).  I'm copy pasting blocks between documents to get by but that is not a long term solution by any means.

If you are trying to access blocks inside old files, the correct tab you need to be in is this one

Give that a try.

This error has everything to do with your reinstall most likely, it refers to externally located symbols libraries not in any file you open at all

Thanks for the reply Pendean,  Problem here is that I get the error even when I create NEW files.  I want to be able to share blocks between drawings in the future of course.  I'm not sure what to do to get this error to go away.  Any help you can give is much appreciated.

@garrett_arnold_ext ASAIK you actually have to fix the problem first in that one lower tab to make the error go away, it's never going to do it on its own. From what you keep getting as an error, you've not done that yet or are selecting a source that is never available, and only you can fix that

OR perhaps you need to give up this palette interface, and crack up/startup using ADCENTER command with a much more simplistic user interface that is very user friendly.

This is the same solution that was given from my google search before posting.  Unfortunately, as you can see in the origional image, the error message takes up the entire window of the Library tab on the blocks pallet.  I do note see or have access to the Icon you're referencing and thus can not remove the file in question causing the "File not found" error.

In short, the error has removed the feature that allows me to clear the error.  I feel like I'm dead in the water.

The ADCENTER is interesting.  I'll take some time to investigate but right now I just need to get through this drawing set and copy pasting between drawings, although sloppy, is getting me through it.

If you have any other suggestions on how I might be able to clear the error I'm all ears.  Thanks again.

@garrett_arnold_ext That's unfortunate.

It might be time for you to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:

Well I'll be, the suggested solution in the chatbot search before getting me to a real person actually worked!

Looks like the MS Edge update that I forcefully received when my company upgraded everyone's laptops created an issue in the windows registry.  Here is a link to the solution incase anyone else find there way through this discussion.
