Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to insert blocks from Blocks palettes on a specific layer. I know this is possible using the tool palette but is this also possible using blocks palette?

No, i want to insert block from the new blocks palette and keep the layer of my block as is on my library. For instance when inserting a door, it should insert in A-DOOR. Is this possible from blocks palette? or only from tool palette?

ToolPalettes do that if you set it up to do it that way. Change your command usage.
LISP customization ca do that too.

The Block Palette is not a replacement for any other method or option, it's just an extra tool. If you'd like to suggest new abilities for it, do so here https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

If your blocks are assigned to the correct layer, then use the DESIGNCENTER and "Create Tool Palette of Blocks" from library folder.  I recommend you see the video and link:
