Hi,

Once again....casual user here.

I am trying to move text in the block editor for my bom. I managed to move the column lines. I'm basically adding another "X" column to the right and shifting everything over. The 2 rows are different blocks "b1" and "b2". I open up the editor and not matter where I move the text it does not move after I save the block. What the? See attached picture and block.

Thanks.

You could just grab those attributes (smart text in blocks are not called "text"), and move to where you want

or better yet, why not just insert that block again: your edits will show up just fine. ADDSELECTED command is right there in your right-click menu

By the way: this attribute is set to be center-justified, but it appears you prefer it to be left-justified, fix that when you edit the block again

Sorry for getting back so late. This looks good. I am not sure what the add selected command does.

Are you saying edit the block then reinsert it as opposed to it dynamically updating?

Hello @cs2kplus

I haven't look at the drawing, but I can confirm that the attributes position changed inside the block editor will not reflect outside the block editor until its synced. After updating the attribute close the block editor and use the command "ATTSYNC" and select the block and press enter. Now the attributes will sync and reflect the changes🙂
