Blackout keyed notes and layer issues

Blackout keyed notes and layer issues

Hello all,

1.    I am facing a weird problem here in my CAD. See attached for a reference. When I print my drawing, I see hatch in the some of the keyed notes (hexagonal blocks) while some of them completely blacks out. As a result, I cannot see the numbers in it. However, I do not see any hatches or solid backgrounds when I operate in CAD. Also, (from the attached image)

2.  I draw these keyed notes using layer color set to "RED" but I don't know for some reason it is appearing in white as you can see. I doubled check the layer properties manager and the color is still set on "RED".

When I tried to copy same kind of notes from other drawing (which was set to same layer but appears "RED") to this one, it turned out to white color as soon as I paste it.

Please help me on these issues.

Based on the pretty picture and your words but no CAD file...

1. Your block contains a wipeout of some type.
2. Your block content in this file is not set to BYBLOCK and are tied to that layer color. The other files have the correct block with the correct settings.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I've attached CAD file with this. Can you have a look at it and tell me where the exact issue lies? Also, I've attached the screenshots of my pdf view vs client pdf view. My view is from bluebeam and my client is using adobe I believe. I am not sure how to explain the behavior of this file. Please help.

HI,

i open your CAD dwg file , attached a screenshot for your Mtext Notes . i notice that you are using WIPOUT for background and for numbers attributes .

Capture.PNG

i suggest to clean your dwg by  AUDIT_PURGE (Regapps ) commands .

Restart AutoCAD, start RECOVER command and pen the file through that and see if that helps.
