Batting layer not imported to Revit

I've drawn a couple of details in AutoCAD 2015 to use in a Revit project, when drawing insulation I've created a new layer with the batting linetype and adjusted the size of it with linetype scale. When I import the details to Revit however the insulation doesn't follow, I just get a straight line where the insulation should be. Choosing to import or link the file makes no difference and I've made sure to include the insulation layer as well.

I have attached a picture to show what I mean. The two horisontal straight lines by the joists are my insulation lines.

REVIT does not have that linetype.
Make the batting out of Pline objects, old school style like this http://cadtips.cadalyst.com/curved-objects/create-batting-line-polyline (sign in to get the lisp).

There are several other routines on the Cadalyst CAD Tips site to do that kind of thing in other-than-complex-linetype ways, with differences in the approach and the particular configuration of the curves [Search for Insulation and/or Batt -- many of the results have comments from me about what makes them different, so you may not need to download them all and try them].  There are probably more [some duplicating those] on these Forums, and elsewhere.  Personally, I don't like the "look" of AutoCAD's Batting linetype, which is one of the main reasons I made InsulBattPoly.lsp, here, but it has all kinds of other cool capabilities [see the comments at the top of the file, and the image attached to my first comment on the web-page].

Thank you very much. "Workaround" was even easier to use than the batt line type!
