I am in AutoCAD 2016.
BATCHPLOT is not working in the slightest. I am attempting to use BATCHPLOT to create a PDF set.
I have 4 drawings open.
I type in BATCHPLOT, press Enter, then the batchplot/publish window shows up. 2 problems are happening.
1) Batchplot refuses to bring in certain layouts. There are 6 layouts each in each of the 4 DWG files. In 2 of these files, Batchplot only brings in 5 of the 6 layouts. Just ignores 1 layout from each drawing. The layouts don't have the same name. I don't know why these sheets would be ignored. Even when I manually bring in each DWG file to the Publish window, it still ignores the same sheets. I don't see a way to be able to manually select certain layouts, only select certain DWG files and hope it brings in all the layouts (which it doesn't). The layout names all look something like this format:
MT-1 2436A
2nd problem) When I click "Publish", it starts plotting them in the background which I have chosen, then when it's finished, it says "Errors and warnings found." When I click that, it shows me some sort of error log that doesn't really indicate to me that there even were any errors. I can paste the error log here if helpful. Then when I go to the folder that the PDF set should have been saved to, the file isn't even there. So not only is BATCHPLOT ignoring layouts, it's not even saving the PDF file at all.
It's frustrating that the program is this broken. I've never run into this horrible a problem with AutoCAD before.
I had hoped Batchplot would save me some time, as I just need to plot about 24 sheets. By this point I'd probably be almost done plotting them one by one (which I may end up doing anyway). Before I try that, I'll try using Batchplot with only one DWG file open at a time. Even if that works, BATCHPLOT is still not functioning as it normally does, because normally, I can have 20 DWG files open, use BATCHPLOT, and plot them to PDF just fine. I don't know what's up this time.
If anyone has any help, it would be appreciated.
