Background Mask Default Settings Thru Registry?

Is there a way to keep the settings for MTEXT background masks to come in as a default thru the registry. There are values and settings that have my settings stored, but every time I add a new mtext it comes in without the background mask settings.

According to the Autodesk knowledgebase, it is not possible to do this.

TEXTMASK command can use, not for Default Settings
