Auxiliary View exercise problem

Starting on a new chapter called Auxiliary views and started this exercise. This doesn't look right...To me, it looks horrible 😂 and not what I would think it should look like. But maybe I'm wrong. Could someone verify that this is the way it's done? I'm struggling with auxiliary views at the moment....granted, I am going ahead of the class at the moment...

Why are you assuming we know what you exercise you are talking about and what exactly looks right or wrong LOL

Ask your instructor for guidance or share your full coursework here for us to understand the task you are trying to work on.

Nice, this is a good resource. 👍 When I search for these types of resources I never find the good ones or overlook them, so thanks ...this can be my study material while college is closed!

I am confused, you asked about auxiliary views but the response was about isometrics.  Which are you after?

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.

I'm probably more confused than anyone so I apologize in advance for any confusion....I'm looking for whatever the auxiliary view would be. This is actually a bit advanced for where I am at skill-wise as I still have a class called Auxiliary Views/Surface Development I need to take, hopefully next semester....lots to learn...

The aux view you show appears to be correct. That is if you only care to show the projected face of the object. Additional line work would be projected to display the "channel" extending toward the rear of the part. I would like to point out that the aux view is not an isometric view as suggested in another reply.
