Structural engineer here who designs bridges primarily. I'm wondering if anyone has attempted automating bridge design/drafting in AutoCAD (similar to the process described here:https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/class/Automated-Design-and-Production-Linear-Schemes-Us...)? Or, better yet, has anyone ever tried to integrate CSiBridge and AutoCAD together? I use CSiBridge for my design work primarily, and my projects are bigger than would be appropriate for Autodesk's Structural Bridge Design program, but I am hoping to find a way to automate the drafting tasks that become tedious time sucks. Any help / thoughts / advice would be appreciated!
Could your work flow use acad to create / perform automated tasks which you then move into CSI bridge or do you want a parametric type link happening between the platforms?
It would help if you could provide a simple example.
