Autodesk software slow

Good Morning,

I have some issues related to a computer I am working on. As a matter of fact, it slows down by using Autocad 2019 and Revit 2018 (Win10 Pro x64). In particular, it has a lack of fluidity while it's working.

The same issue is over the software while doing simple commands on local files as well, since it takes 2-3 seconds more to respond after my click.

The simple start of these two softwares needs long time as well. And, this does not occur to any other software used on this computer.

I monitored the use of resources and it is null whether it's starting or it's using the Autodesk softwares.

I also tried to re-install the operating system by using those 2 software only - unfortunately the result is the same.

The mentioned computer has very strong features. So why it should not get any issue on these software' workload.

Here below, the computer detailed pieces:
- Asus X99-A/USB 3.1
- Intel Xeon E5 v3 @ 1.60GHz
- Ram 32GB DDR4
- Graphic Card NVIDIA Quadro K2200
- Samsung SSD 850 PRO 256GB
Have you got any idea about the issue of the mentioned computer?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards

It's difficult to say exactly what's going on but your processor, though a Xeon, is a lower end Xeon. The Cache and speed is a bit lower than I would prefer to run AutoCAD and Revit. Your video card seems robust enough but it is not listed on Autodesk's certified graphics card for AutoCAD 2019. It is on their list for AutoCAD 2018, so I would suspect it should be fine.

Since the GPU isn't certified there could be performance issues with the graphics acceleration settings in AutoCAD. Maybe try turning them on/off to see if there is an improvement there.

Processor speed recommended: over 3GHZ https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-r...

You are running half of that. In fact you are lower that what is considered average in the link above. Xeon does not compensate for low processor speeds.

Old K-series video card is decent but not great, more minimum to average.

Teeny Tiny primary HD drive probably means you are low on room too, right? Kind of like grocery shopping for family of ten with just a hand basket. How you connect to where your files are stored may also be slowing things down too.
