@handjonathan hi John, will we have to re-qualify each year to keep our cerificate valid ?

Technically the exam guide is incorrect on question 3 in a least 2 ways:

1. There is no matchproperties command. The command name is matchprop.

2. Selecting layer and dimension style would not match those properties.  It would match every property but those because they would be unchecked in AutoCAD by selecting them.

On the home tab of the OOTB AutoCAD ribbon it does have a Match Properties button.

@dany_rochefort Thanks for asking this, If the candidate passes the AutoCAD ACP beta exam and earns a certification, the certification is valid for 3 years. After that time, retesting is required to recertify.

Hi @dbroad Thanks for the comments on this. The guides are intended to be a representation of the type of exam questions that will appear on the exam (multiple choice with graphics, multiple choice with multiple answers, etc). We are reviewing the content now and revise it accordingly.

Thanks. Glad I could help.  BTW, Just invoking the matchprop command won't take you to that dialog and many would be unfamiliar with it.  In addition, even though the checkmarks are generally applicable, most of them won't actually apply anyway. For example, you would need to select a dimension and then settings.  If you selected a line, then the dimension checkmark would be irrelevant.

Changing the settings isn't necessarily a good idea either because those settings are sticky.  So they could be easily forgotten the next time matchprop is used.

For dimensions, I usually use the properties palette to select the dimension style.  I also have a command alias for updating dimension to the current style. (defunc c:up()(command "dim1" "up")). The type-in for that is now "dimstyle apply"

@handjonathan  Are Beta test results really taking 6 months to get? I took the test back on April 7th and have not gotten any type of results notice.

I received email notification in September, you can also just sign in to your Autodesk account (same email you used to take test), select my dashboard and view your current certifications.
