autocad to pdf

I have elevations done by hand, scanned them, opened them in photoshop and I colored them in photoshop. I then created a pdf of these elevations (pdf because it retains the color while jpeg or tiff changes the color significantly). I then xref these pdf elevation images into my autocad file in the model space, scaled them up to the right scale. I then print pdf them in the paper space as part of the whole set (which is a mix of cad and images). When I opened the pdf file everything is good except the pdf elevation images are not clean -- they have some extra lines (or bubbles) at different spots of the images, mostly around outer edges of the bldgs or single lines. This issue doesn't really happen all the time, only every now and then. I don't really know what causes this to happen because I always use the same process. But if I open the pdf file in bluebeam the elevations are fine. Any idea what might be the cause of why this happens.

May I ask, why the Photoshop to PDF to AutoCAD then back to PDF?

If BLUEBEAM shows all as good, then whatever you are using instead of Bluebeam is where you need to find a fix: what is that exactly? Share your PDF here too when you get a chance.

I can have everything done in CAD (roof plans, floor plans, etc) except the elevations need to be at its sketchy level, not CAD drafted at all. But I also needed to color the elevations and the fastest way to add specific sherwin william paints to the elevation is in photoshop. I then need to combine everything into one set and my final output is a pdf to be sent.

...and in regards to bluebeam. I use the acrobat pdf to open pdf. Though the pdf can be opened in bluebeam and I can save pdf off the bluebeam but the file gets so big -- like more than 3x or 4x than the original pdf file size.

@REscalonaL4CJY so if you are combining PDFs from Photoshop and AutoCAD with a 3rd party tool, how is the issue still related to AutoCAD then?

Or did you mistype, and you literally attach the Photoshop PDF into AutoCAD, then PLOT or PUBLISH to AutoCAD, because you don't have access to a tool to combine PDFs from many source into one PDF?

Share your PDF, or at least the problem page: you issue has little to do with AutoCAD output IMHO unless you want to test every possible PDF driver out there.

BTWE, Sherwin Williams color books have been and still are available for AutoCAD (and so many other programs) too, we use them often in our offices

In both PDF creation steps (in Photoshop and in AutoCAD), maximize the resolution. See if this clears up the "bubbles".

If not, try reducing the resolution, first from Photoshop, then from AutoCAD.

Also consider different PDF output providers, and within them, the ability to output different PDF versions.
