Hi,
I've got a real weird one here. I've a group of 6 PCs with AutoCAD 2014 installed, all on the same hardware and OS, all installed with the same AutoCAD version, all with OS and AutoCAD fully patched and configured in the same way, all accessing the same CAD files from a network drive.
One of these PCs however does something weird when opening existing CAD files from the file share. When you open the file it shows all text in the correct font and size (see pic 1). If you plot it the drawing, regen the drawing, edit any object or even simply select an object (not even the object with the text) it changes the size and font or certain specific text objects (see pic 2). The font and size of the text would then stay wrong, even if the file is saved and closed unless you specifically try to edit the text in question, which would then revert it back to the correct size and font (see pic 3).
This only happens for the one PC. If the same files are opened on any of the other PCs the issue doesn't occur.
Any ideas? It's been doing this ever since the software was installed.
Hi,
seems like this used font is missing on that workstation.
As we don't have the drawing, we don't know the font that is used, you have to find it out yourselve.

Hi. Nope still no go. Copied all the fonts from a working PC (both in the AutoCAD directory and the Windows Directory) to the PC at fault, restarted AutoCAD and tried the files. Still the same issue.
Are therwe any difference of the following system variable values between your pcs?
1) Fontmap
2) Fontalt
Can you tell the font name having problem?
