What is the selected rectangle image supposed to be explaining to those of us not familiar with the unstated problem?

Capture1.JPGi made this rectangle using AutoCAD LT. The difference between both of them is the previous rectangle has dash lines and this one is solid

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Try setting SELECTIONEFFECT=1 to see if that corrects the display.

Hi @Anonymous,

Try toggling off Hardware Acceleration to see if that changes the behavior.

Hi,

i suggest to Uncheck High Quality Geometry  then Uncheck  Smooth line display . and see if any changes, if not please disable hardware acceleration . if not fixed i think that you need to update to the latest video driver for your graphics card.
