Autocad saved drawing Issue

Hello,

I am facing a strange problem. I made a drawing in Autocad. It has some beams and pillars and civil blocks. I saved the drawing and everything is going OK.

The issue is that the next day when I opened the same drawing, the components are misplaced e.g. beams are not where I saved them and/or some of the components are missing (not there where I placed them).

Can anyone guide me what can be the issue?

Regards and Thanks.

Hello John,

Hope that you are doing good. I am replying and using the same thread as I am in the same issue once again.

I upgraded my laptop from the previous core i3 to i7 7th Gen and this time I also have NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design. The screenshot of the graphics performance window is attached here.

I made a darawing and saved it; but when the next day I opended it; some parts were missing and some were displaced from the location where I placed them in the drawing.

Is there any reason for it???

Looking forward to have your expert opinion.

Regards,

Mohsin

As others have said and reiterated, this is probably not an AutoCAD issue. Since this has happened on more than one machine as you have upgraded the hardware, it is more than likely a user error unless you are on a network that is using some sort of file compression that is not recommended.

Another less likely possibility is that someone else has access to your files and is deleting stuff.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I am not of the opinion that someone else might have deleted it. If you check the properties of the file and look for last accessed, That will confirm it.

Refer to this Article and try if it works : 3D objects display wrong, shift position, offset from grips, or move in AutoCAD

By the way @john.vellek left Autodesk : CHECK THIS

Hello,

I am reposting the same issue in the thread I created.

This time I have an issue that is very strange. I made a drawing of a building. If I view it in 2D wireframe I can see all the objects. But in conceptual mode, most of the items are not there. Seems the drawn items do not exist.

What can be the issue? Anyone, please help me out......

Pictures are attached here for the real drawing and the issue I am facing.

Regards,

Mohsin
