Autocad replacement script or lisp

Hello experts.

Im looking for a routine that would,

Find Block A replace it with block B (thats in a folder, instead of inside that drawing)

I did look into this

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/batch-block-replace-with-spreadsheet/td-p/6795231

I like the thing with having an excelsheet to work from. (for easier setup) (I have 300 different blocks)

Is there a way to have to have a simple script line like that, but  have it find the block in a folder?

The reason is that I have some blocks that has an article number, art 1 attaches to a wooden plank, art 2 attaches to a steel "plank" and art 3 attaches to a stainless steel plank.

I have 300 of those. Today I use expresstools to insert a block and replace them. But I have to make 2000 drawings.. With the 3 materials..

So if i could make a big list of what to replace what, but without having the dwg in that drawing it would save my life.

Our app JTB Batch Change can help you to update blocks on multiple drawings. It can rename blocks and import block definitions from on drawing into multiple others

I'll check it out.

This is more or less for our standard files. I would like to have buttons within AutoCAD because we do like 5-6 projects a day, would be neat if we could change materials with a click.
