Dear all,

Please provide the steps you took to make the pdf.  The fact that the red in the file is not uniform indicates that some file compression was used to make the image file.  Did you go direcrlty to a pdf from AUtoCAD or save an image (e.g., jpg) to make the pdf?  Also, is this a 3D AutoCAD object with a default index color or an applied material? A copy of the file would be helpful too.

Dear,
you can see my steps below:

  • I made the pdf from autocad directly
  • It is a 3D autocad object with a default index color, but I tried with a standard material also the resoult is the same.

Please see the attached DWG file.

100dpi perhaps?

How about a viewport in that layout instead? See attached.

The quality in Model space looks perfect.  Use saveimg in model space and choose 24 bit png.

Here’s a setup to get shaded vector output from AutoCAD.  A somewhat labor intensive (crying out for automation) process, but not too bad if the project would benefit from exceptionally crisp graphics.

I used a somewhat similar process with the automation demoed in this vector rendering thread.

I need to work like Inventor, drawing the 3D model and get it in layout, make a technical sheet with some 3d view.
I can do that, but as you can see the 3d views are very ugly.

Then you need to be using Inventor: AutoCAD is not it. Sorry.

I am using inventor also , but sometimes i prefer to use AutoCAD. I choose the Autodesk software according to the project, in this case autoCAD is better than inventor, for me.
In autocad there is the tools to do that but does not work well.
I hope that autodesk will fix this problem.

Thank you.

I just added an additional layout to your drawing and it looks good.  Note the dpi for this is 300.  Try creating a new layout and as you go through the additional steps to create the final image you want see if you can find at what point the image degrades.

Your sample DWG file uses a view, not a viewport, in LAYOUT: are you still not using VIEWPORTs as suggested by everyone so far?

Yes because I want to use a view not a viewport

In autocad there is the tool to do a 3D view in layout, because it does not work well ?

thank you very much for your support and suggestion
