Autocad plotting pdf in wrong colour

For some reason, when I plot from dwg>pdf certain colours plot in different colours to what is shown in the dwg.

Images attached of the comparison, its mainly the greens and browns in this file but it has happened to me lots before with other colours. Can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

I have attached the pdf.

I have attached the original dwg file, the pdf that was plotted, and a png screenshot of what I can see on my screen. Some of the green and brown colours look completely different in the pdf compared to what I am seeing on my screen. If you compare the png and the pdf you should be able to see this.

@DGUK-Turbo ,

What CTB are you using?

No this is not the problem. I WANT my trees to be semi transparent. The colour of the trees is not the issue.

Can you see from the comparison between my plotted pdf and the png screenshot of my screen, that the hatches of the green football field, and brown areas of surfacing are very different to what they should be?

Yes, SORRY - as i EDITed, my mistake.

I don't know why Valentin writing about a Layer Tree and transparency,

but the answer to your question is 99% sure:

It is a fake, a virtual trap.

AutoCAD change the displaycolor depending on the background!

Go to MODEL tab and you can see, the color is near to the same as in PDF (or?)

test it.

Go back to layout, set the paper/background color to color 7 and check the color again, no it looks also like in your PDF.

(it can not be 100% the same, but near to)

Sorry for the german gui, but in your ACAD it is all at the same place 😉

The colours are the same in the model tab and the layout tab, there is no difference. Neither of them look like the pdf.

I tried what you suggested to change the paper/background color to color 7 and you're right the colours did change to look like the pdf. So I corrected the colours to look how I wanted them, and plotted to pdf again. STILL they don't plot the same!! I don't understand why!

I have attached what a png of what the colours look like on my screen compared to the pdf that plots. The hatch of the grass isn't showing atall, the grey of the boulders is much lighter and the colour of the brown islands is much lighter too.

I don't understand why it doesn't just plot what's on my screen... why would anyone ever want it to plot something different?!!

Ah thank you, I changed all the colours to pantone colours from the colour books and they're finally plotting correctly!
