AutoCAD Lock Properties Panel

Hello,

Is it possible to lock this here (Properties Panel) without anchoring it or docking it? For an example if I want to lock it wherever on the screen? I want to do this because I have toolbars anchored and locked. If I anchor the Properties panel then anytime I hover over it, it will expand and then cover the tools.

I'm not sure exactly you have it set up, but you can also use JTB palette auto-hide speed add on. It can be found in the autodesk extension store. It is also free. You can change the roll up and roll out speed of the palettes. Why you might want it though is if you set it to a really high number then you actually need to click on the collapsed tool bar to open it. I think you can do that so you need to click on it to roll it closed too, but I haven't read the read me in a long time as once it's set it's done.
