Hello @fprico,

Welcome. Smiley Happy

It seems like you may just need to add it. You can add the view panel by right-clicking on the empty space to the right and selecting "Show Panel" > "Views"

Keep us posted on the progress.

@fprico

You have to be in a layout tab in order to see that tab.

Hello @fprico,

I have an article here that shows how to Add a new toolbar button. I just went through it now myself. Navigate to the top of the toolbar on the "Manage" tab click "CUI" icon search & drag the "Layout" to the "Quick Toolbar" in the top section. It should appear after you close out the window.

Hope this helped. I will move this over to the AutoCAD 2017 forum for more input.

Hi @fprico,

Try typing in CUI, select Layouts from the Toolbars category and on the right select Add to workspaces in the Default Display

Hi @fprico

Did you also click on a layout tab first? You have to be in an existing layout in order to see it at the top of your screen.

Hi,

Try to move the file to the ribbon tab (not in toolbar) in the CUI and then check if the tools are there.

Thanks & Best Regards

Cheers,

Right-click in that red-zone: are all the panels turned on?

If not, it's time to reset autocad https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

HI @fprico,

Can you use the Windows Snipping Tool to try and capture what that Show Panels looks like?

It might be worth Resetting your CUI as well per the instructions in this article.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Do you see the Layout tab if you click onto a layout (paperspace)?

How did this not get resolved.  I have the exact same issue and I cannot find a solution anywhere.  I can't add a legend, scale, north arrow, or anything.  Where are all of the Layout tools??

Did you do as asked in the post you are replying to?

pendean_0-1598985534153.png

If yes, are you sure you actually are in a layout?

what does ABOUT command say about your version?

Could this be your issue https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/layout-tools-tab-not-showing-in-ribbon/td-p/8372469

Or this perhaps https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Cannot-s...

TIA
