@pendeanLike I said in my originel post, I mostly use Inventor, but these three things would be nice:
1. I work with many people who do not use AutoCad, so they often share dxf files. I have seldom been able to import a dxf directly into AutoCad. Someone on a forum suggested using onlineconvertfree.com, and it worked! I suggest that AutoDesk update their dxf import software so it works.
2. My AutoCad skills are not what you'd call great. Several times, especially after receiving help, I've accidentally overridden a drawing I didn't mean to. It would be nice if AutoCad automatically saved the drawing one is opening and/or saving in an "Old Versions' folder like Inventor does. That way one can always recover an older version of ones work. There is a system variable that sets how many versions to save, if any.
3. Someone sent me this link to an article about a problem I was having. I wanted to print it, and even though it is about a half page long, my printer wanted to put in on 5 pages.
It would be nice if there was a print function on articles like this so one can print it without wasting a tree.
