AutoCAD - Importing a PDF file to autocad - can't get rid of white background. Any suggestions?

Hey All,

I am trying to import a pdf (it's a raster image) and I keep getting the white background of the pdf File. Please note I have tried unchecking Vector geometry (& solid fills). Do you have any suggestions?

Then Autocad can't do anything about the white background.

Raster is not vector ☺

You want black background? Use some type of paint program and change the image.

Create a clipping boundary and clip out the white.

Save the PDF as an image and then apply a transparency (background color) in AutoCAD.  You can set the resolution higher when doing a save as from Adobe (jpg, tiff, bmp..)

or maybe

PDFIMPORT as vectors while leaving it a block.  No background that way.  Although it has to a PDF the has vector information.
