AutoCAD - How to import only subset of profile (just some paths)

Hi everyone,

I would like to import some paths (support file paths, printer spooler and printer configuration paths) in my installations of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

I wish to import these files in different versions of my autodesk products as these come along and on multiple computers. So a full profile for specific version of each autodesk product is simply not useful.

The paths are not version specific , so I wish to  simply create a "supplemental" profile once and import it on every computer for ever and ever. How can I achieve this ? Simply exporting an full profile and just  deleting all but the  sections that are of interest did not work so I seek your advice.

Extra Qs: in AutoCAD LT there is no tab to import/export profile. I obviously do not care to export but is there a way to import such a partial profile file in these installations too ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Athanasios

AFAIK that just means you need to make an effort, once, to manually create these trimmed down options, then save as new Profiles with unique names to use as you desire.

For the "Extra Qs:"...
LT, as part of the discounted pricing, does not have/use "profiles". But you get to enjoy $$ in your pocket instead. No workaround or backdoor options other than doing it all manually on one station, then EXPORT SETTINGS / IMPORT SETTINGS to transfer it all as is to another LT user.

Hi there,

thank you for the reply.

I think import settings / export settings relates to printing options, not the profile options, right ?

So it is not really an option in my case...
