autocad graphics

i have autocad 2019, and I am facing problem with the graphics of the software. the problem is with the colors of the highlight, select methods (window) and layers colors that for the layers when I choose for example red the layer is drawn in blue. I have turns off the hardware accelerator it restored everyting back and layers are drawn in the selected layer color but it slowed down the software and the graphics quality decreased also the highlight preview is not a solid line it turned dotes, and for that I tried to turn it in and of with <1>:<0> command but it didn't work.

I just wanna know how can I have my software to be a normal one is the problem with my graphic card or the Autocad Software itself ?

I'd start by making sure you have the recommended video card drivers installed (the newest is not always the best).  If you dont have a recommended card, you can try turning off individual features of the hardware acceleration, instead of the whole thing, such as starting with turning off High Quality Geometry and see if that improves the situation.

What video card and driver are you running?

Hi,

>> Here is everything about the system

Please, take a look to your forums post >>>click<<< 😉

Besides of that there is no information about your AutoCAD version and your graphics card.

Therefor please add two screenshots, one for command _ABOUT and one for command _GRAPHICSCONFIG.

Side note: >>>here<<< you can find how to create screenshots without the need of your mobile phone, then making sure the focus is ok and then rotate the image so we can read it 😉

Hi,

thank you for your additional information!

From your initial post

>> when I choose for example red the layer is drawn in blue

Use again command _GRAPHICSCONFIG and turn off hardware-acceleration.
Does it work now better?

If yes ... update your graphic card driver or let the hw-acc. disabled (which should not be an issue if you work only 2D and also small drawings).

Hi,

>> but the issue is that the software decelerated too much

Then please use option 2, search for a driver for your Intel HD which does not have that issue, it's a problem of the driver and it's DirectX implementation!

If you have such big projects that you have issues with the performance you should also think about a "real" graphic card, not the on-board Intel HD one as this is not a graphic card built for CAD systems.
