Hi,

>> When i I'II insert images JPG the CAD hangs does not respond

When exactly?

  • when starting the command (btw: which command did you use?)
  • when selecting a folder in the image selection dialog
  • when selecting a file in the image selection dialog
  • after you selected the image and pressed ok
  • ...

Please try also to copy another JPG to a local folder and try the same with a new drawing ... just to know that issue does not depend on a specific drawing, not on a specific JPG and not on network connections

Hi,

>> command line. Now  the cad started work again

That did not answer any of my questions, even if a button was used to start the function ... you should see a dialog or did AutoCAD not show a dialog to select an image?

Also trying a new drawing with another image all in the local system will help us to isolate the problem.

Please understand that we can not see what you see, so we need a more detailed description of what's happening.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

It would be helpful to know if the AutoCAD installation has been fully patched and updated per Imad's suggestion.

It would also be helpful to understand the complexity and size of the drawing where this is occurring. Is it happening only in one unique file or all files?

Can you attach some sample files so I can see if I can duplicate on my computer too?

Perhaps this is a graphics card issue. Is the driver current?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
