Autocad Freezing up after typing commands into the command line

Ok this is the second instance that this has happen.  The last time IT wiped my computer and started over with software.  This process takes too long and evidently since I'm posting here doesn't work.

The problem is when I type commands into the command line Autocad freezes up and I have to kill it with the task manager.  It will lock up after the first two letters are typed. I've went through the help and the other instances of freezing doesn't' seem to fit my situation.

thanks....

I've figured out that it is a corrupted profile.  But when I create a new profile within a day its corrupted also.  So no this is not fixed.  For all the expense you'll should have better support.

Does turning off (unchecking) AutoComplete and AutoCorrect help?

To turn those off, click on the wrench icon on the Command Line, select "Input Settings ►" and click on each item (if it has a checkmark next to it).

If you turn off the Command Line and turn on Dynamic Input instead, does it still lock up?  (enable Dynamic Input by entering "DSETTINGS" at the Command Line (if it will let you without locking up; otherwise, you can right-click on a Status bar icon to get to it) > go to the "Dynamic Input" tab > check "Enable Pointer Input").

If Dynamic Input works, this would serve as a workaround until you can get an actual resolution to the problem.  You may find you like Dynamic Input better anyway (I did after trying it for a couple of days, even though I initially hated the feature).
