What means "restarting"? (simple restart the software or the software activation or the student registration or ...)

What means "did not work"? (what did you try, what did you get and what did you expect ... we don't sit beside of you so we don't know all that)

When I installed the software and tried opening it. It's like the whole
program was frozen I was unable to even close it or click on anything.
Have you ever heard of this happening before?

May be it's not relevant for now, but maybe later ... which version of Windows?

You might try the following steps

• first at all make sure the latest updates are installed, for AutoCAD 2019 that means Update 2019.1.2 should be installed
• next you might try to start AutoCAD without hardware acceleration (to prevent it's hanging because of incompatible graphic card or driver) as shown >>>here<<<
• try to disable antivirus software
• try to start AutoCAD as administrator (right-click the AutoCAD icon on your desktop and use option "start as administrator")

...any of these options working?
