Autocad file corrupt/unknown error

Recently I made some changes in an existing cad file (.dwg) and saved it. Next day when I tired to open the same. It shows just the get started page. I tried everything but I am not able to find the sheets/layouts but still the size is same.

FYI, the file i was working on had 19 sheets/layouts, total size 17 MB. Now it shows just blank model and layouts.

but still the dwg size is same.
And since that file was in office shared folder, someone may have tampered it by mistake.

Solution tried :

I have tried to change .bak and rename it to .dwg but still same problem.

It would be great if you could help me how to recover the file.

Start AutoCAD.
At the big red A in the top left corner, find and use RECOVER command to open your problem file.

Other things to try: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Understa...

>>>... file was in office shared folder,...<<<
Ask your IT to recover their backups of your file(s) from a day or two ago, you can always remake those few changes again.
