autocad does not respond

while I was working on autocad, suddenly it started to not respond. it says that the application does not respond. how can I save my work? please help me because i don't want to lost my work now. thank you.

since it's not respond ... then you can not save it. force shutdown for your AutoCAD then try to check if any temp or bak files that can help.

That's Windows shutting down the program to prevent a system crash.

What version of AutoCAD are you using, what what version of Windows is it, and does this happen all the time or is this just a one off?

Are you actively and manually saving often and repeatedly? If you do, this would not be a big deal since it is a loss of only a few minutes of work.
